About the Fishers Police Foundation

The Fishers Police Foundation was formed as an independent 501(c)(3) charitable organization in February of 2012 to support the important work of the Fishers Police Department through the donation of funds, services, and goods. The Foundation supports programs, initiatives, and projects that are strategically focused to complement the Department’s policing strategies and to ensure the highest level of police service to the Fishers community. The Foundation is dedicated to fostering public safety through community building, education, and outreach. We are entirely dependent on the support of private donations, and 100% of our donations go to Foundation projects.

Governed by volunteer directors, the Fishers Police Foundation is a charitable, non-profit organization that provides opportunities for the police department to build stronger relationships with the citizens it serves by providing support for crime prevention and public safety through grant funding for specialized equipment and by supporting Fishers Police officers in need.

Mission Statement

The Fishers Police Department Foundation was established to create financial and community support for the Fishers Police Department in its efforts to meet the needs and services of the community by achieving law enforcement excellence and gaining citizen understanding and support. The Foundation’s main focus is to raise awareness and support for the important unbudgeted or “discretionary” needs of the department that will improve crime prevention and law enforcement efficiencies.
